Read-only safety contract
- No quote record, inventory hold, reservation, payment, or guest profile is created.
- Current quotes are snapshots cached for no more than five minutes.
- Nearby alternatives may use different arrival and departure dates and must be described clearly.
- The guest must review the final total, cancellation terms, and policies in the OwnerRez booking handoff.
- Configuration, provider, and rate-limit failures return explicit errors rather than false empty inventory.
